"Fears No Foe!"
The Loyal Edmonton Regiment is a Primary Reserve infantry unit of the Canadian Armed Forces. The “Loyal Eddies” are part of 41 Canadian Brigade Group, 2nd Canadian Division.
The unit is located at Jefferson Armoury, 11630 109 St NW, Edmonton, AB.
The 49th Battalion Association is dedicated to fostering Fellowship and Remembrance within the Regimental Family. To this end we sponsor on-going events, including the annual fall dinner, a summer BBQ, and, publish the FortyNiner Magazine.
The Association also funds the Regimental Kitshop which is located in Battalion lines at the Jefferson Armoury, 11630 109th St NW Edmonton, AB.
The Griesbach gallery is named after Major Gegneral William Griesbach, the first commanding officer of the 49th Battalion, CEF, which is perpetuated by the Loyal Edmonton Regiment.
The Museum is located at 10440 108 Ave NW #118, Edmonton, AB.
